Wow, what a weekend!! For those that aren't aware, I went off to share Christmas in July at Nundle with Kerry Swain.
I shared the weekend with a fabulous group of woman. The projects were full on, just gorgeous. I laughed and laughed and then laughed some more, (no, not at the projects!!) I had the pleasure of getting acquainted with some wonderful designers. Rosie is an absolute hoot. (Just quietly I think Melly & Me named one of those gorgeous little owls, Hooty & Tweet, after Rosie.) I also had the pleasure of laughing with Janelle Wind and Natalie Ross who made this divine hanging Santa. My roomy was a fantastic lady, Leanne. If you are ever in Walcha, NSW you must pop in and say hello, she runs 'The Lavender Patch', a lovely country store, with lots of bits and pieces, including stitching things.
How lucky am I? I have bought home lots of goodies from Rosalie Quinlan Designs, including the original 'I Remember'
quilt that was available as a BOM. Simply delicious. I am considering running it again in a different fabric range and slightly different colour way, maybe Sanctuary and some other yummy fabrics. What do you think? Along with that beautiful quilt, I managed to slip Gracie
and Dear Santa into my bag, too. (Shhh, don't tell anyone, it's a secret.) Mad Mozzie, Silly Bunny, Messenger Birdies and the gorgeous quilt Deck the Halls have also come for a holiday to Honeysuckle Cottage. Oh, and I have the pleasant company of Pocket & Floss for a while, too.
Here we are Monday again, and it would seem in sharing my weekend I have also taken you back to some much loved patterns. I even got to fondle The Joy of Life. Heavenly. Have you fondled anything amazing lately?
Thanks for stopping by. Remember a minute in your day might just touch the heart of another for the rest of their life. x x x
