A little will go a long way...

I have , like you all, been deeply touched by the devastation left behind in the wake of the fires in Victoria, Australia.  Whilst I cannot imagine what it would be like to actually be living this horrifying situation, my prayers and thoughts are shared with so many of you. 

I came across a fantastic opportunity last night over at Linda's place.  Here is a great way to help where you add a little or a lot.  All is takes is a 12.5" wonky star block from each of us, and many will benefit from a handmade hug in the form of a quilt.  The block doesn't take very long, it uses scraps, and there are no points to match, yeehaaa!!

We are nurturers with huge hearts.  If you do not want to join the group but still want to help, please feel free to send your blocks, scraps, backing, thread, binding, wadding, anything, directly to me at Honeysuckle Cottage, and I will forward them in bulk to Tia, group co-ordinator and chief angel.
